நீதியின்தீர்ப்பு புலனாய்வு மாத இதழ் , 12/12/2012 அன்று ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டது .- ஆன்லைனில் தினமும் நடப்பு செய்திகளை பதிவிட்டு வருகிறோம் .

நீதியின்தீர்ப்பு !  தமிழ் மாத  இதழ் . இதன்மூலம்  நாங்கள் சமுகபொறுப்புணர்வோடு  செயல்பட  எண்ணுவதால் , அதனையொட்டியே   மக்கள் மற்றும் தனிப்பட்ட சமூக பிரச்சனைகளை கூர்ந்துகவனித்து  அதன் நிறைகுறைகளை  அரசுக்கும்  , அரசுஅதிகாரிகளுக்கும்  தெரிவித்து  உண்மையின் பக்கம்  நிற்கவே விரும்புகிறோம் . அதன்படி பாதிக்கப்பட்ட மக்களுக்காக  சமயத்தில் தேவையான  சட்டஉதவிகளையும்  செய்து கொடுத்து  அவர்கள் பக்கம் நிற்பது , சமூகம் சார்ந்த ஜனநாயக  கடைமையோடு  நடுநிலையாக  பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களின்  பக்கம் இருந்து உண்மைவெளிவர  செயல்பட்டு  வருகிறோம் .

1. Publisher

Primary duties: Publishers are generally the sole owners of the newspaper. They usually run the newspaper like a CEO, overseeing the entire publishing process with the help of a board of directors. They may hire newspaper employees, define editorial voice and guidelines and make crucial strategic decisions regarding the business. Publishers may also be responsible for the newspaper's success and, in smaller publications, they may also serve as department heads.

 

2. Editor-in-chief

Primary duties: An editor-in-chief may manage the entire editorial team as the highest ranking member of a newspaper's staff. They generally supervise all writers and editors, write editorial pieces and oversee all aspects of a newspaper's production. The editor-in-chief may assess editorial material and assign responsibilities to the members of the staff, often assisted by the section editors. They also review all articles and sections and manage the newspaper's budget.

3. Managing editors

Primary duties: Managing editors, who report to the editor-in-chief, are often responsible for the publication's editorial activities. They may assist the editor-in-chief in deciding the issue's content. They often supervise the creation of overall layouts of the newspaper and decide the section layouts with the section editors' help. Managing editors are in charge of a staff of newspaper reporters, editors and graphic artists. They may also manage the employees and set deadlines.

4. Copy editor

Primary duties: The copy editor generally proofreads the entire document and adjusts the content and photos to fit the layout. They often make sure that the information provided is clear, exact, complete and genuine. A copy editor's job is usually to ensure that the content is grammatically correct, well-written and understandable to a large audience. They may also edit the original material or the copy for publishing.

5. News editor

Primary duties: A news editor typically supervises each edition's news sections and oversees the news stories. They may assign stories to the newspaper's reporters, communicate with the sub-editing and photography teams. They generally prioritise and organise news stories for each issue. The news editor usually evaluates a journalist's copy for legal and ethical concerns. One of their primary responsibilities often includes editing articles for the publication's news section. They check facts and make sure a piece is readable. Reporters and news editors may collaborate to help improve their writing.

6. Assistant editor

Primary duties: Assistant editors' basic duties usually comprise supporting a newspaper editor. They may come up with fresh story ideas, conduct research, write and polish articles and choose images and visuals for stories. Sometimes assistant editors may assist with the newspaper's social media profiles as well.

7. Opinion editor

Primary duties: The opinion editor generally reads and reviews the entire section on opinions. They usually write their own column. They are in charge of the opinion section's layout and may often collaborate with other section editors to write and edit their columns.

8. Sports editor

Primary duties: Sports editors typically read and edit all the articles published in the sports section of the newspaper. They usually manage the sports section's layout. They may sometimes contribute an article to the section. If you are interested in sports and writing, this may be the job for you.

9. News reporter

Primary duties: A newspaper reporter's primary duties typically comprise doing research and writing articles based on the information gathered. They may pursue new leads or tips while waiting for assignments from their editor. News reporters also follow journalistic ethics and standards by verifying and examining newsworthy material and presenting it to the public.

10. Reporter

Primary duties: Reporters usually file reports about local, state, national and worldwide events. They may regularly observe the acts of public officials and those in positions of authority. They are typically unbiased and write an objective article, often presenting multiple points of view on current issues. Reporters may often work in the field to cover live events.

11. Journalist

Primary duties: Journalists' chief duties may include observing, examining and reporting events and happenings in the world. They generally study and assess the stories before bringing them to the public in an easy-to-understand manner. They may maintain a fast-paced schedule to fulfil tight deadlines because they usually require providing the information as soon as necessary. Nowadays, journalists may require abilities in online publishing, programming and social networking to remain connected with their sources and audiences.

12. Photographer

Primary duties: Newspaper photographers usually take pictures for solo features or to support a news or feature piece. They may take photographs to record an occasion or to send a message. These photographers, who shoot indoors or outdoors, also use professional lighting and camera equipment depending on the occasion and lighting conditions. Working for newspapers can be one of the most demanding jobs for professional photographers.

13. Illustrator

Primary duties: Newspaper illustrators often make 2D pictures that frequently correspond with news items. They may create initial sketches and digital graphics with design software. Illustrators generally communicate with graphic artists, report writers and editors.

14. Marketing assistant

Primary duties: Marketing assistants usually help and support the marketing department of a newspaper. They generally help create marketing campaigns and sales strategies. Marketing assistants may also collect financial data and develop a marketing strategy to help sales. They often do market research and generate reports to evaluate the newspaper's marketing efforts.

15. Correspondent

Primary duties: Correspondents are reporters or journalists who cover breaking news on the scene. They often operate from remote locations and foreign countries to supply news to newspapers. Correspondents, unlike reporters, may add some of their own opinions into the newspaper article and report as events take place.

16. Columnist

Primary duties: Columnists write opinion pieces for newspapers. They have columns of public interest within a specialised area of interest. For example, they may write on topics like politics, sports or entertainment or offer personal advice to readers.

17. Art director

Primary duties: Art directors oversee a newspaper's visual aspects. As the leader of the art department, they coordinate their team's work. Art directors may also oversee the page layout of the newspaper, ensuring a visually appealing design. They may also coordinate with section editors and photographers.
